About Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science and Commerce

SVKM’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science and Commerce also well known as UPG College, was established in 2003. In its journey during the past 17 years it has grown in strength from 150 students from its inception to a total strength of 1680 students today. Under the affiliation of University of Mumbai College offers undergraduate and post graduates programs like Mass Media, Management and Information technology. The college is listed in first top ten for the graduation course in mass media. College has very active and excellent placement cell that provides 100% placement (for the IT department). College is popular for its cultural, sports and drama activities, infrastructural facilities, and impacting social media presence.

IT Department of UPG College provides undergraduate and post graduate courses. In past decade department had organized many events such as ‘Techvanza’ to groom the students in all directions.  One day national conference on ‘Emerging Trends in Digital Technologies-2020 (ETDT – 2020)” organized in year 2020, was a huge success. To groom the research culture in youngsters, we are organizing International conference on Emerging Trends in Digital Technologies -2021 on 9^th January 2021.

About the Conference

The Organizing Chairs of the conference, feel honored to invite you for the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Digital Technologies (ICETDT 2021) scheduled on 9^th January 2021. ICETDT-2021 is a flagship event of Shri Vile Parle Kelvani Mandal’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science and Commerce to create a collaborative platform for bringing together technical experts across Industry, Academia and Professional Bodies to promote Innovation in digital and Information Technologies. Motive of the conference is to provide the overseas experts’ knowledge and inspire the young researcher. This conference is one of the platforms for exchanging the knowledge, ideas and technical skills.

Objective of the Conference

The primary objective of the International Conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computational Engineering, and Communication. It is an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Information, Telecommunication, Computing Techniques and related areas. The main objectives of this conference are:

• To find the technological applications and solutions for the current problems in order to maintain the health, wealth of a nation. 
• To provide the latest knowledge on the conference aligned themes.

The full-length papers will be limited to maximum six A-4 pages (IEEE format) which will be considered for the publication in the conference proceedings after the thorough review. Please upload a soft copy of your original and unpublished manuscript in prescribed (.docx) format at this link https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icetdt2021. All papers submitted to the conference will be reviewed by the experts in relevant areas and reviews will be forwarded to the authors. ICETDT-2021 does not allow any form of plagiarism. The submitted papers are checked for the plagiarism. Research Papers with plagiarism 10% or less will only be considered for the review process. It is suggested to check your paper for plagiarism before the submission.

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with ISSN. Selected papers will be sent for the further publication in Scopus indexed and  UGC CARE listed Springer Nature Journal BJIT – International Journal of Information Technology after fulfillment of the terms and conditions of the respective journal. The extra cost of such publication shall be borne by the authors of the research paper separately. 

Registration fees includes cost of proceeding.

All the accepted paper(s) must be registered by at least one of the author(s) in order to present it in the conference. The paper without registration will not be considered for the publication in the conference proceedings. Registration will be confirmed after receipt of registration fees in any of the following modes.

1. Demand Draft in favour of Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Arts, Science and Commerce, payable at Mumbai
2. Electronic transfer of registration fees through NEFT/RTGS/Google Pay/Paytm to below mentioned bank account only.

Your safety is our first concern. By considering the Global pandemic situation, we are organizing the conference in virtual mode.   The online paper presentation will be arranged on MS-Teams virtual platform.

Please submit your presentation slides and video recording of your presentation on easy chair login. In case of run-time network issues, participants video presentation will be used.

For online presentation participant must arrange:

• Laptop with headset/ Desktop with Webcam and Microphone/headset

• Updated Chrome Browser

Some important steps for attending the virtual paper presentation

1. You can either download MS-Teams or use web-based MS-Teams platform for the online presentation.
2. You will receive a meeting invite from the organizing committee few days prior to the conference.
3. Verify your camera and audio input and network connectivity set up before joining the conference call and to share your screen.
4. Maximum time given for the presentation is 10 minutes.
5. You can leave the meeting at the end of the conference.

Participant will receive the certificate only after attending 75% of the total duration of the time of the conference. Participants will receive a soft copy of the Conference Certificate (mentioning Presenter/Listener), and Proceedings on their registered email address after the conference.
